"Having the doctor come visit Joe at home has made all the difference."

Generously giving of their time and energy, volunteers have been at the very heart of the Visiting Nurse Association Healthcare Partners of Ohio since our beginning in 1902.

Today, hundreds of VNA volunteers – from all walks of life – find deep personal satisfaction in making the lives of others more comfortable by giving of themselves. Volunteers enhance the care we provide by assisting our staff and by adding a personal touch that patients and families really appreciate. Our VNA staff will provide you with the necessary support and training so that you feel prepared and comfortable with the role that you select as a volunteer. We will work with your schedule and you can volunteer as much or as little as you would like.

There are as many different ways to give time as there are people in need. No other experience in life gives back so much caring and sharing for so little effort. When you volunteer with the VNA, we think you’ll agree.
